BSF jawan succumbs to TB

 TURA:The body a jawan of the 35 Battalion Border Security Force (BSF) deployed in West Garo Hills who died of Tuberculosisis was burried Sunday with full honors at Goriamot cemetery near here.

The deceased, a constable in the BSF, Gajjala Brahmam was suffering from Tuberculosis and took seriously ill on Saturday and was taken to Tura Civil Hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.

Officials of the BSF in a fix how to transport the body to his village in Andhra Pradesh contacted the deceased’s relatives and got the

permission for his burial in Tura and went ahead with the last rites

today at Goriamot cemetry, Tura.

The deceased was in his 14th year of service and is survived by his

wife and two sons.
