SHILLONG: One person identified as Pasang Lama (37) committed suicide on the premises of the Reid Chest (TB) Hospital at Jhalupara in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to police, the person who was admitted at the hospital for treatment, hanged himself in the corridor of the hospital with his muffler at around 3 am. The deceased is a resident of Jhalupara.
The post-mortem of the body will be conducted on Monday, police said.
