Morigaon (Assam): A devastating fire today broke out in a market area damaging huge quantities of goods in Assam’s Morigaon district, police said. A fire broke out this afternoon in Bhuragaon Paanch Ali Market which housed mostly godowns of jute and grocery. The damage caused by the fire was estimated to be more than Rs one crore. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, sources added. (PTI)
