Inter-School Cricket: St Edmund’s beat Jail Road Boys

SHILLONG: St.Edmund’s Higher Secondary defeatedJail Road Boys Higher Secondary by three wickets in the Seventh IP Das Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament at Cricket Ground, Polo on Friday.

Jail Road Boys HS School won the toss and elected to bat scoring a paltry 94 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 23.2 overs with only Bona Myrthong withstanding the accurate bowling of St.Edmunds to top score with 41 of 65 balls.

Vijay was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 5-15-5. In reply St Edmund’s reached the target in 20.1 overs losing seven wickets in the process. Praveen scored 25 of 49 balls while Binay took three wickets for eight runs.
