Gratuitous Relief

The Deputy Commissioner , East Khasi Hills District, has released payment of Gratuitous Relief to the victims whose dwelling houses and agricultural crops were damaged by fire, cyclonic storm, hailstorm and landslide during the years 2009 and 2010, under Mawsynram C and RD Block.

Save River Campaign

Workshop

A two day Workshop on Entrepreneurial Skill enhancing potentials through Self Employment was inaugurated on Thursday by Sankardev College as a part of its Community Extension program. Managing Director of Meghalaya Small Farmers Agri Business Consortium Dr. Dympep was the Chief Quest on the occasion. The workshop included programs for solving the unemployment problem in the State, practicals on preparation of indigenous snacks, bakery, and field visits etc. The workshop attracted all those who want to take advantage of such informative and beneficial programs.
