TURA:The Principal of Tura Government Boy’s Higher Secondary School and former Sub Divisional School Education Officer, Ampati Civil Sub Division, N Bhowmik has denied the allegations of fund misappropriation leveled against him by the Garo Student’s Union, Western Zone.
The former education officer has termed the allegations baseless and an attempt to tarnish his character.
He stated that he had in his capacity as an Education Officer discharged his duties with utmost sincerity and dedication. To keep the dignity of the post I worked honestly sticking to rules and principles, never compromising under any pressure, Bhowmik informed.
Bhowmik was recently accused by the GSU, Western Zone, of misappropriation of Government fund allotted for schools as conversion cost.
