Bangalore: The Banga-lore Rural police on Tuesday booked a case of murder against two students in connection with the death of Manipuri student Loitham Richard at a college for architecture hostel on the outskirts of the city last month. Police sources said a case of murder had been booked against Vishal and Afzal who were said to be the prime suspects named by Loitham’s parents in their complaint. The police as well as the college management were under fire for not acting in time as the 19-year-old student had died in his sleep in the hostel room. (UNI)
