Blood donation camp

 SHILLONG: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Art of Living, Shillong unit in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Shillong to order to mark the birth anniversary of Sri Ravi Shankar at Nazareth hospital Shillong, here in the city on Saturday.

A good number of voluntary blood donors participated in the camp. The camp continued throughout the day and city residents queued up to donate blood.

On this occasion blood donation camps were also organized in various other states across the country.

Founded in 1981 by Sri Ravi Shankar, the Art of Living Foundation is a non-profitable organization, which is engaged in stress-management and service initiatives.It can be mentioned the organization operates globally in 151 countries.
