Anganwadi centre opened

 Shillong: The Anga-nwadi Centre or “courtyard shelter”, a programme to combat child hunger and malnutrition was formally opened at Mawlai Mawiong Rim by local MLA in the presence of the local MDC of Mawlai on Saturday.

Constructed at a total cost of Rs 1.75 lakh, sanctioned by the Mylliem Development Block, this centre was build with an aim to provide food, for get together.

The Dorbar Shnong stated that though the no financial help was received from the local MLA and MDC, they did not stop from going ahead with their work.
