Bomb scare at Jowai

JOWAI: A bomb scare in Jowai sent public into a tizzy after a suitcase was found lying abandoned in a market at Iawmusiang Jowai on Saturday afternoon. The unclaimed suitcase was spotted by some passer-by who immediately informed the police suspecting that it might contain explosives. Jowai Police immediately called for bomb squad which arrived from Shillong and later confirmed that the suitcase contained clothes.
