Cuttack: Services have history on their side as they prepare to lock horns with Kerala in the first semifinal of the the 66th Santosh Trophy National Football Championship, here on Friday. Services have won four times to Kerala’s two in the 10 encounters between the two sides.
In their last meeting, in the 2008 Santosh Trophy in Srinagar, Services rode Sochungmi Raleng’s hat-trick to thump Kerala 3-0.But that’s history and Services coach V Sajith Kumar is aware of that.
“We will play attacking football. That has been our style and we will stick to it,” commented Kumar. (PTI)
