School centenary celebration

TURA: Established in the year 1912 as a Bengali Medium ME School in the heart of Tura, the Tura Town Higher Secondary School is all set to celebrate its centenary on Saturday at the Tura Natya Samity premises. Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma will be attending the inaugural ceremony of the school’s centenary celebration as chief guest. The school was upgraded from secondary school to Higher Secondary School in 2001. The centenary celebration committee of the school has invited all its past students, parents and well wishers to attend the celebration.
