Three woman cadres arrested

SHILLONG: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday apprehended three female cadres of Manipur-based militant outfits and detained two minors accompanying them. The three female cadres were arrested from Dawki while they were trying to infiltrate into India from Bangladesh. The arrested cadres have been identified as Lily Leima Devi (52), suspected to be the publicity secretary of RPF and PLA, Memma Devi (52), a PLA cadre and Laiman Chandra Rani, a KYKL cadre. Two children – Ibngo (7) and Shamila (4) – who were accompanying the three cadres were also detained by the BSF. The cadres have confessed that they were returning from their camp based at Khonagaon, Bangladesh and were headed to Manipur.
