SHILLONG: Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, Mukul Wasnik, will attend the conference of Social Welfare Ministers of the North Eastern States to be held in the city on May 29.
Besides Wasnik, Union DoNER Minister, Paban Singh Ghatowar, Union Minister of State for Water Resources and Minority Affairs, Vincent H Pala and Union Minister of State for Rural Development, Agatha Sangma will also attend the conference.
The Conference will discuss issues of disabilities, programme for senior citizens and victims of substance abuse and also take up developmental issues concerning the SCs and the OBCs.
