NONGSTOIN: A truck bearing registration no. ML04-7290 met with an accident, killing one and injuring another. The incident occurred at Mawpam, Maweit Road in West Khasi Hills at around 2AM on Thursday morning.
One drowned
One Teilang Bina of Dongmihsngi, Ladthalaboh Jowai drowned at Syntu Ksiar – a part of Myntdu river while taking bath on Thursday noon.The twenty one-year old Bina had gone to the river along with three of his friends.
