London: Christian Bale’s former publicist in his book ‘Christian Bale: The Inside Story of the Darkest Batman’ alleges that the Enlish actor was so mean he would make little girls cry.

Harrison Cheung, who claims he was never paid by Bale, 38, for a year, says that when the “Dark Knight” star was approached by fans he became angry with them, reported Daily Mail online.

“Far from being flattered by the attention he would lecture little girls about being rude and intrusive until tears streamed down their faces, and their parents tugged them away from our table,” the book says.

The book also details an alleged incident when Bale received a letter from a fan at his home. Cheung claims Bale sent him a fax, saying the fan should be eliminated, writing, “Better to be safe than sorry. A screwdriver thrust thru the eyeball into the brain prevents any screaming. Let me know how it goes (sic).”

Cheung claimed working with Bale was a traumatic experience and he had to undergo therapy.

“My therapist would describe my condition as post-traumatic stress disorder.” This is not the first time Bale’s hot temper has made headlines. In 2008 Bale was accused of assaulting his mother and sister at the Dorchester Hotel in London during The Dark Knight press junket. He was arrested but let off due to insufficient evidence. Six months later a video showing Bale ranting on the set of Terminator Salvation was leaked on the internet.

The British-born actor had a meltdown and started abusing director of photography Shane Hurlbut for accidentally interrupting him in the middle of a scene. Bale later excused his rant, claiming it was his highly-strung character John Conor ‘speaking’.

Meanwhile, Bale’s co-star Anne Hathaway said that she was under a lot of pressure to play Catwoman in upcoming film The Dark Knight Rises. “I didn’t realize I was the first — and I feel a little nauseous. That is a lot of pressure,” she said.(PTI)
