MPCC congratulates Nongkynrih

 Shillong: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee has extended their congratulations to one of the state’s renowned musician, Neil Nongkynrih for bringing honour to the state after being selected as the new representative from India as member of The World Choir Council for the period 2012 to 2016.

Son of AH Scott Lyngdoh and Elvirial Nongkynrih, Neil alias the father of the favourite ‘Shillong Chamber Choir’ has brought laurels to the state and to the country in many an occasion and has also made a mark in the world musical scenario, MPCC publicity secretary Manbor S Warjri said.

“He has contributed tremendously to the growth and recognition of musical talent from this part of the world. This latest honor is indeed recognition of his expertise and exceptional talent as a musician”, Warjri added.
