Kohima: The Nagaland branch of Patanjali Yog Samiti and Bharat Swabhiman (Trust) organised a symbolic fast at its office premises in Dimapur on Sunday to express solidarity to Baba Ramdev and Anna Hazare in his fight against corruption.
According to sources here on Monday, both the organisations had observed fast in support of the day-long fast called by yoga guru Baba Ramdev and social activist Anna Hazare yesterday in the national capital and across all state capitals.
Around a hundred members took part in the fast from 0900 hours till 1600 hours.
The day-long fast was a mark of protest against corruption and ‘black money’ stashed away by Indians in foreign countries, sources said. (UNI)
