SHILLONG: The breakaway faction of the ANVC has announced a ‘shutters down’ programme from 12 noon to 1 pm and night blockade from 8 pm to 6 am the next day in protest against failure of the 24 legislators of Garo Hills to address the problems faced by people despite a ten-day deadline issued by the outfit.

The outfit has also threatened to launch a total non-cooperation movement against the 24 legislators if they do not respond to the demands of the outfit.

The outfit also appealed to the people to avoid attending any event or meeting called by the legislators.
