SHILLONG: Senior Meghalaya IPS officer BL Buam has been promoted to the post of Additional Director General of Police in charge of Training and Armed Police.
When contacted, Buam informed that he has assumed charge of his new office on Friday.
Earlier, Buam was holding the post of Inspector General of Police in charge of Training and Armed Police.
