Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan confesses he is a sports lover and is currently enjoying the ongoing Euro Cup to the hilt. Apart from the passing of the ball and goals, he also has a keen eye for the players’ unique body art.

“One thing common among Euro players… Apart from the fact they all use their feet in the game, they all have the weirdest tattoos too,” Big B tweeted.

The UEFA football tournament, which began June 8 and ends July 1, features 16 European nations.

Big B also commented on the Ukraine-France game played Friday which was halted for 56 minutes.

“Ooff! Thunder and mad lightening! No… not the coming of the first monsoon rain in Mumbai… at the Ukraine vs France Euro game!,” his tweet read.

Besides football, Amitabh is a close follower of cricket as well and had recited a poem at the opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year.

While his father is hooked to football, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan loves fast cars, specially those that burn up the race tracks. Unlike his contemporaries from the film fraternity, who rush to watch Grand Prix races, Abhishek chose to attend Le Mans 24 Hours – one of the oldest and elitist car race event.

He left Tuesday night for the event, to be held Saturday in the scenic town of Le Mans in France.

Abhishek had been planning to attend this 80-year-old annual racing event for some years now.

“He never got around to it until now. Every year something or the other would come up putting a roadblock in the way of his secret fantasy. This year Abhishek was determined to make it, come what may,” said Abhishek’s friend.

“He virtually stayed awake nights to complete the dubbing of ‘Bol Bachchan’ so that he would get time off for a few days before he returns for the promotion of the film,” the friend added. (IANS)
