Shillong: Brushing asides claims of UDP spokesperson Paul Lyngdoh on the failure of the Congress-led MUA government in the State to tackle many issues especially the law and order situation in Garo Hills, Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma said that such comments were mostly for ‘political consumption’.

“It is up to the people to scrutinize every word of what politicians say,” Dr Sangma said while adding that politicians should speak based on facts and not make baseless allegations.
