Pala proposes Pranab’s nomination

 New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Water resources and Minority Affairs and Congress MP from Shillong, Vincent H Pala, on Wednesday signed the nomination papers of UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee for election to the post of President, as one of the proposers.

The papers will be formally submitted to the Election Commission on the first day itself before which ‘Dada’ will resign, Pala informed The Shillong Times.

Pala had met Mukherjee at his official residence late Tuesday night and wished him all success for the Presidential polls.
