AIDS awareness programme

 SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Youth Foundation in collaboration with the Meghalaya State Network for Positive People (MSNP+) organised an Awareness Campaign on “Career Counselling, Substance Misuse & Stigma and Discrimination on HIV/AIDS” at Good Shepherd Higher Secondary School, Jongksha on Friday last. Over 300 students of Good Shepherd Higher Secondary School, Jongksha and members of various youth organisations from the area attended the programme. It may be mentioned that the career counselling is being sponsored by the Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank, Shillong.

After the end of the Awareness Campaign, a tree plantation Programme was also held at the school premises where more than 60 tree saplings were planted.
