SHILLONG: The police on Sunday busted a gang of car lifters and arrested five of its members. The five members of the gang are Nongthongbam Sanatemba Singh of Lakhipur (Cachar) Assam, Heru Das of Silchar, Rahim Rakuni alias Amit Das of Tripura, Jeetu Das alias Naba Das of Karimganj and Raju Das of Bongaigoan, Assam.
