SHILLONG: The UDP on Wednesday decided to push for a political solution to the border tangle.

The party will present its case for a durable solution to the inter-State border issue both to the Assam Government and the Centre.

At an emergency meeting at UDP president Dr Donkupar Roy’s residence, the party also questioned the baffling silence of the Union Government over the Meghalaya Assembly backed resolution in favour of a Boundary Commission.
