Prostitution racket busted: Hotel owner, manager held

SHILLONG: Police managed to apprehend Raju Baruah, the owner of Hotel Galaxy in the city, for running a prostitution ring in his hotel.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Vivek Syiem on Saturday informed that police managed to nab both the owner and the manager of the hotel on Friday night itself after they had managed to escape from the hotel during the raid.

The arrested persons have been remanded in police custody.
