Arms supply: Middleman picked up

 SHILLONG: The police SWAT team from Shillong on Sunday picked up one Paua Hatjaw from Akongre, Tura for acting as the middleman between the GNLA and the arms suppliers. According to police, the accused is a Mizo, married to a Garo. Hatjaw has been remanded to 10 days police custody. Earlier on Friday, the State police arrested two persons, Adbil Ch Marak and Maybin Ch Marak, suspected to be involved in supplying arms to the militants. The duo was sent to buy weapons from Shillong by GNLA Southern commander Mikjim Sangma.
