Stolen revolver recovered

 Shillong: Six days after a constable, Banshanbok Kharbukhi lost his revolver (with 6 live ammos) during a fight under the influence of alcohol with two other civilians at Sohra stand Iewduh, police has recovered the lost weapon from Cantonment area.

Informing this on Sunday, Superintendent of Police (City) M Kharkrang said the weapon was found from Cantonment area after a 14 year boy, Jainul Ali was reported to have received bullets injuries at his residence here on Sunday. Later police conducted a check at Ali’s house and found the missing weapon with 5 live rounds and one empty case which indicate that the weapon was taken by Ali On July 17 when a brawl broke out between the constable and the two civilians.
