SHILLONG: The People’s Movement has taken a strong exception over the decision of the State Govt to issue an order asking its employees to take Casual Leave for not being absent from office during the office picketing organised by the movement on July 13.

“We demand that this order to be immediately revoked since they had held the office picketing not with the intention to confront the Government. We have organised this agitation to express our concern on the delay to resolve the inter-State boundary dispute,” PM leader Ardent M Basaiawmoit said. “We would also submit a representation to the Govt in this connection on Friday,” Basaiawmoit said.
