Shillong: The work for the laying of Ductile Iron (DI) pipelines for Zone II distribution system of the Greater Shillong Water Supply (GSWS) project (Phase III) under JNNURM will commence from Thursday in areas which included Upper Lachumiere tank along the road leading towards the Loreto Convent School and another along the road from Lachumiere tank towards the Malki junction point.
The executive engineer (PHE) S Lyngdoh has stated that every effort will be made to complete the work early for lesser inconvenience.
