‘Toddlers’ come up with projects of their own

By Our Reporter

Shillong: With an aim to get the school children involved in practical education, a Project Work Display was organised by the Step by Step School for all the classes from nursery to VI at the school premises here on Friday.

The children participated in the event with much enthusiasm as they proudly presented their project works assisted by teachers and parents.

“With the help of parents, who are often considered as the teachers at home, and teachers, who are like the parents at school, we try to encourage the children as much as possible to express and interact more in practical”, owner of the school, Robin W Marbaniang told reporters here on Friday.

Some of the project works included ‘project on bridges’ presented by class I students, ‘project on buses’ by nursery class, ‘project on tigers’ by class III students among others.

“Such programmes help to hone the creative skills of a child from an early age,” said a parent.
