TB awareness programme on in West Khasi Hills

 NONGSTOIN: The West Khasi Hills TB Control Society has begun implementation of the Advocacy Communication and Social Mobilisation (ACSM) activity under the revised National TB Control Programme.

The activity started with an awareness programme for school children aged between 12-15 years. On Aug 2, Dr WW Phira, District T B Officer, West Khasi Hills and his team addressed a gathering of school children at Anderson Higher Secondary School, Nongstoin.
