SHILLONG: The Orthopaedic Society Shillong organised a Poster Competition among school students on August 4 as part of observance of the Indian Bone and Joint Day at the Seminar Hall, Shillong Civil Hospital.
Subrata Biswas of St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School and Bhagirath Mahanta of Laitumkhrah Presbyterian School bagged the first and the second prize respectively in the senior category while in the junior category Brajangana Dev and Melissa Jangapi of Loreto Convent, Shillong bagged the top two prizes while the third prize was jointly shared by Sabetmaphi Ranee (Loreto Convent) and Anges Marak and Ekata Mishra (both from St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School).
