Shillong: The breakaway faction of the ANVC has asked Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Purno K Sangma to resign with dignity within this week.

In a statement issued here on Friday, Nawang K Sangma, chief of the ANVC’s ‘anti-corruption wing’ warned of repercussions if Sangma did not resign within the set deadline.
