Shillong : Authorities have made a makeshift arrangement recently to cover the manholes at Khyndailad (R) after The Shillong Times took note of the deplorable condition of the footpath (L) in the area. The Khyndailad beautification project is already delayed and almost no progress is being made in the work due to the ongoing monsoons thus making things difficult for the pedestrians.
