TURA: The much-awaited maxi taxi service is all set to hit the roads of Tura on Thursday.

The maxi cabs under the Tura Supplementary Public Transport Service (TSPTS) will be flagged off by Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh on Thursday in an elaborate function to be organised by the Department in collaboration with the Tura Municipal Board on the premises of Tura District Auditorium.

Among others expected to attend the flag off ceremony are Urban Affairs Officer on Special Duty, T Lyngwa, Urban Affairs Director, BK Panda, West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Pravin Bakshi and Tura Municipal Board Chairman, KC Momin.
