SHILLONG: The NCP workers of Mawsynram constituency has decided to project senior party leader Batskhem Marbaniang as their candidate for Mawsynram constituency following the decision of former Mawsynram legislator DP Iangjuh to join the Nationalist People’s Party (NPP).
Informing this here on Wednesday, the NCP workers said the decision to this effect was taken recently, which was subsequently endorsed by the party’s central observer Robert Kharshiing. Confirming this Marbaniang told The Shillong Times, “As a loyal member of the party, I have accepted this offer.”
