Training of para legal volunteers

 SHILLONG: The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority is organising an inaugural programme for the training of the Para legal volunteers on September 15 at Yojana Bhavan, Main Secretariat from 11am.

The training programme will be inaugurated by Supreme Court Judge Justice BS Chauhan.

14 selected legal aid clinics in West Khasi Hills will also be inaugurated on the same day by Seniormost Judge of the Supreme Court and Executive Chairman of the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, Justice Altamas Kabir, through video conferencing from the national capital.
