CSWO seeks intervention in Law publication

SHILLONG: The CSWO has sought the intervention of the Secretary of the Law department into a publication by the Assam Law House regarding land laws of Meghalaya written by Dr OSDV Ladia.

CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing said, “Some words have been deleted from the Act in the publication but even a small amendment in any Act is need to be approved by the Assembly or Parliament.

The CSWO has also asked the department to immediately rectify the mistakes in the publication.
