Umdiker: Members of the Youth Club of the Umdiker Sport and Cultural Club (USCC) carry out repair work of a dilapidated road at Umdiker on Saturday. According to the club members, the road which belongs to the Meghalaya Electric Energy Corporation (MeECL) has been ignored by the department for long. The initiative on part of the Club was supported by the women of the village along with the elders who took part in the repair work. (ST)
