Pradip Chandra Neogi of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shillong and Hubert Thyrniang of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Jowai have been selected for the National Academy of Sciences (NSAI) Science Teacher Award 2011. In a statement issued here on Monday, NSAI N-E Region Chapter chairperson Veena Tandon said that the selections were made in view of their illustrious academic career, service as a teacher and immense contribution towards popularization of Science and generating scientific temper among the young minds for the last many years.
