W Marchtime Kharryngki, son of (L) Wodar Synteng Nongdhar and (L) Syin Kharryngki of Lyngiong village, has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Khasi. He worked on the topic ‘A study of HW Sten’s Criticism on Khasi Poetry’ under the supervision of Prof MB Jyrwa of the Department of Khasi, NEHU.

Dreamlee Sharma has secured first class first position in MSc Statistics Examination 2012 conducted by NEHU. She is the daughter of Debabrata Sharma and Gopa Sharma of Ashutosh Lane, Sonai Road, Silchar, Assam.
