SHILLONG: Police have arrested the president of the breakaway faction of the Civil Society Women’s Organisation (CSWO) Irene Hujon along with another member of her group Rosetta War for assaulting, abducting and shaving off the hair of four females and one 16-year old boy alleged to be sex-workers at Khyndai Lad here on Friday evening. Acting on a FIR filed by the victims, police arrested the duo on Saturday morning. However, both Hujon and War were later released on bail. A senior police official, meanwhile, said more arrest would be made in this connection.
