‘Run for Peace’

SHILLONG: Thousands of young students and people residing at Pynthorumkhrah area participated in the ‘Run for Peace’ on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on Tuesday.

Around 1,400 school children participated, according to organisers.

The winners: Banisha Marbaniang (sub junior girls), Innocent Nongphud (junior boys), Jesibel Nongbri (junior girls), Robin Nongrum (senior boys) and Darihun Dkhar (senior girls).
