Shillong: The State government was trying to ensure that issue of “governance” was addressed in a much more “proactive” manner, Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma said on Saturday. “The issue of governance which will be integrated in itself with various other agencies of the government will go a long way in enabling the officers to achieve the objective of serving the state and its people,” the Chief Minister said in his address to the Annual Conference 2012 of the Meghalaya Civil Service Officers’ Association (MCSOA) here.
