Raliang lad wins Dance Jaintia Dance

 JOWAI: Thymmebor Dkhar from Raliang village won the ‘Dance Jaintia Dance’ – a dancing competition organised by the All Jaintia Youth Welfare Organisation (AJYWO) which concluded here on Saturday.

The competition was organized to serve as a platform for the youth of Jaintia Hills to showcase their talent. Altogther 41 participants took part in the competition which began in June. Thymmebor, who garnered 39,910 votes, took home a cash award of Rs 1 lakh apart from the trophy and a certificate. Ronyson Dkhar of Wapungskur village was the first runner’s up with 25, 701 votes while Trebormi Manner of Samasi village ended third with a total of 24, 168 votes.
