SHILLONG: With the Puja fervour on and selection tests for board examinees underway, something out of place has been bothering the residents of various localities in city lately.

It is a constant disturbance from the aspiring legislators who are planning to contest the upcoming Meghalaya Assembly elections

Parents informed that these aspirants come to seek vote along with a huge group of volunteers in the evenings, which not only disrupts the puja celebrations but also disturbs the students preparing for pre – board selections tests.

While the mature political leaders know their game well and proceed with caution keeping in mind the direction of the wind, it is the young guns who in haste manage to upset many.
