Gogoi goes pandal hopping

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi joined in the Durga Puja revelries and went pandal hopping with his family in Guwahati.

Mr Gogoi visited the Puja mandaps of Kalibari, Maligaon, Kumarpara and Harisabha, Panbazar and offered prayers to Goddess Durga on the occasion of Durga Puja in the city. He was accompanied by his wife Dolly Gogoi and son Gaurav Gogoi.

The chief minister prayed for lasting peace in the State and for unity and amity among the people of the state. He also prayed for progress and development of the State on all fronts. (UNI)
