SHILLONG: A female pillion rider sustained injuries when she fell off the motorbike while still in motion at New Putimari under Resubelpara Block, North Garo Hills on Monday at 2pm.

In another accident, one Krishna Sharma (25) sustained injuries after he was hit by a car while waiting for a vehicle on the side of the road at Anjalee Petrol Pump on Monday at 12am. A Maruti 800 was hit by another vehicle and on impact hit him.

A motorist and a pillion rider sustained injuries after they fell off the motorbike when it hit a stone on the road at Pynthorbah, on Sunday night. In all the above incidents, the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance helped the victims in shifting them to hospitals.
